Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and design-driven Interior Designer with experience in luxury residential projects and new construction. This role is centered around full-scope interior finish selections and collaboration throughout the home-building process—from architectural plan review to final installation.

The ideal candidate has a sophisticated design eye, deep knowledge of materials and finishes, and confidence working alongside builders and discerning clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interior finish selection process for new construction homes (flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, hardware, lighting, paint, wall treatments, etc.)

• Review architectural plans and provide thoughtful interior design input

• Develop comprehensive design concepts and cohesive material palettes

• Prepare client presentations, selection boards, and specification documents

• Coordinate directly with builders, architects, and trades to ensure design intent is executed accurately

• Attend site visits and walkthroughs during construction

• Manage timelines and selection schedules aligned with build phases

• Source furnishings and decorative elements when applicable

• Maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors and suppliers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field

• 1-3+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design

• Strong experience in new construction and finish selections

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and/or design software

• Exceptional understanding of  materials and current design trends

• Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple custom home projects simultaneously

• Detail-oriented with a refined design aesthetic
